YBBM GIFT PROJECT 马佛基金会护苗教育关怀计划 GIFT EDUCATION SPONSORSHIP SCHEME 护苗教育助养计划

Yayasan Belia Buddhist Malaysia (YBBM) was initiated by Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM) in 1979. GIFT Project (previously known as Pu Men Children Aid Scheme) is an important YBBM welfare project set up in 1989 aimed at providing financial or material help to children from poor families, so that they can complete their studies without hindrances.

马来西亚佛教发展基金会于1979年由马来西亚佛教青年总会推动成立。护苗教育助养计划（前名为普门贫童慈济会）于1989年设立，是基金会重要的一项福利计划，主要为贫困家庭的孩子提供金钱或物资的协助，让他们可以安心的完成学业。

For this year, 39 students have benefited from the said scheme and they are given a monthly amount of RM50.00 each.

今年，受惠学童为数39名，这些学童每月获辅助金RM50.00。

OFFERING OF THOUSANDS OF BRILLIANT LIGHTS TO THE LORD BUDDHA 2019 (BE2563). 2019年卫塞节万盏明灯献佛陀（佛历2563）

On this Wesak, 19^th May, 2019, let us join hands in offering thousands of brilliant lights to the Buddha! This merits is abundant, greater are the merits of offering lights together with thousands of people as this will create good kammic affinity with thousands of spiritual friends.

The event will be held at Bodhi Park, Shah Alam, on Wesak Eve and Wesak Day. Various groups of Buddhist monks will be invited to chant Sutta and to bless all the people for peace and harmony.

We invite you to participate in this meaningful event by contributing RM20 per share whether for the living or on behalf of the departed ones.  A booklet of 10 coupons is hereby attached and we hope you can reach out to another 9 persons.  Please return the counterfoils together with your contribution by cheque made payable to “YAYASAN BELIA BUDDHIST MALAYSIA”, 129, 1^st Floor, Seang Tek Road, 10400 Penang.

The monies collected for this event will be utilized to defray the cost of building the 2^nd phase of Bodhi Park which consists of a hall, rooms for monks and lay-people and toilets.

Any other generous donation towards the cost of defraying the building the 2^nd phase of Bodhi Park is most welcome and appreciated. All cash donations will be acknowledged by our official receipts.

2019年5月19日的卫塞节，让我们一起来点燃万盏明灯献佛陀！点灯功德不可思议，万盏明灯共结万人缘，功德更是无量！点灯法会将在卫塞节前夕及卫塞节当天在菩提园举行，也将广邀法师诵经祈福。

我们谨此邀请您参与此法会。每盏明灯(在世或往生者)为RM20。仅此奉上固本10 张，希望你能再找9位人士与您共同参与，共结善缘。请把固本的票根及善款支票寄回。支票抬头处敬请注明支付予“YAYASAN BELIA BUDDHIST MALAYSIA”，并寄至 129, 1^st Floor, Seang Tek Road, 10400 Penang.
