The Contractor had also started assembling the steel roof truss on the 5th and the assembling was still in progress. The roof truss were assembled on the ground and would be lifted to position upon complete inspection by the Engineer.

Brief History

The Selangor State Government, through PKNS, allocated a piece of land located in Section 24 measuring 1.24 acres on November 1, 1991 to the Yayasan Belia Buddhist Malaysia (YBBM).

However, some time in 1995/1996, the Selangor State Government withdrew their offer to allocate the original piece of land to YBBM and initiated a stop-work order on the construction of the original Bodhi Park Project.

While the turn of event was beyond and one's control, the YBBM took the initiative to negotiate with the state authorities to find an alternative replacement for the original location. This negotiation went on for almost a decade.

Subsequently, the State Government agreed to a proposal for an alternative site location. The proposed new location is currently situated in U12, Shah Alam, with an estimated land bank measuring 1.7 acres.

The offer was firmed up via the letter from PKNS on 21st November 2002 and the Sales & Purchase Agreement was signed 8 April 2004.
